HONDA MOTOR INDIA LAUNCHES CB UNICORN 160 Price Rs 69,350
Honda India launched two variants out of which one is the standard one
and the other one is Honda’s Combi Brake system. The new features of CB
Unicorn 160 are carbureted and air cooled 163cc engine with Honda’s
patented HET Technology. Maximum power is 14.5PS and peak torque is
14.61Nm at 6000rpm. The features like muscular tank with Honda 3D logo,
digital instrument panel and finned side panels are similar to that of
CB Trigger. The design and style of Unicorn 160 is on the conservative
side and doesn’t give a sporty look. The design and styling of the
Unicorn CB 160 has been heavily inspired by the CX-01 concept.
The front of the CB Unicorn 160 gets a bikini fairing and a new headlamp unit, which looks similar to the one in the CB Trigger. The fuel tank gets a muscular design and features a fibre cowl, which flaunts the company’s logo, while the side panels get a silver and black finish. Unlike a majority of motorcycles in this segment, the CB Unicorn 160 features an elongated single seat. It also gets a heel-toe gear shifter, a fully-covered chain guard and a uniquely designed saree guard. Suspension duties are taken care of by conventional telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock at the rear. The new CB Unicorn 160 will face competition from the likes of Yamaha FZ S Version 2.0, Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR and the upcoming Hero Xtreme Sports.
